Welcome to VacationTrips.io. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every visit to, and every booking made through, www.vacationtrips.io (the "Site"). By accessing the Site, creating an account, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on the Site on the date of your booking or visit. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
All prices shown on the Site are indicative and subject to change without notice until full payment is received and a booking is confirmed. Prices may include or exclude booking fees, hotel taxes, airport taxes, port charges, GST, VAT, or other government levies — the applicable inclusions are stated at checkout for each product.
Availability changes in real time. Room categories, flight classes, and cabin types can sell out or reprice during checkout, which may change the final price before you complete payment. You are responsible for any tax, duty, or cess imposed on your transaction by any government authority, and this is recoverable from you even after your travel is complete.
All online payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partners. VacationTrips.io does not store your card details on its own servers — payment data is captured directly by the gateway, not by us.
VacationTrips.io acts as a booking agent connecting you to hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other third-party suppliers ("Suppliers"). When you complete a booking, you form a contract with the relevant Supplier (and, where stated, with VacationTrips.io directly). You waive any objection to that contract on the sole ground that it was formed electronically.
Completing a purchase is a commitment. Do not confirm a booking you do not intend to honor. You are solely responsible for confirming that the product or service you purchase is legal for you to buy, possess, or use under Indian and local law.
If a booking is paid for with a card that is not in the traveler's name, we may hold or cancel the booking pending verification. We can require a copy of the card, a photo ID of both the cardholder and the traveler, and a signed authorization letter from the cardholder. If these are not provided within the timeframe we specify, we may treat the transaction as fraudulent, cancel the booking, and apply the applicable cancellation charge before any refund.
Amendment terms vary by product and Supplier and are shown at the time of booking. If no amendment option is shown for a product, that booking cannot be changed online — contact our support team and we will tell you plainly whether an amendment is possible and what it costs. We will never silently apply an amendment fee that wasn't disclosed to you before you agreed to it.
Cancellation terms are product- and Supplier-specific and are always shown before you pay. Where a product does not carry its own cancellation policy, the following default schedule applies to package bookings:
This schedule is a default, not a guarantee of these exact terms in every case — some Suppliers, especially during peak season, may charge up to 100% regardless of notice period. The specific policy shown to you at checkout always overrides this default and controls your booking.
No refunds are given for cancellations caused by natural disasters or other Force Majeure events (see Section 8), beyond whatever the underlying Supplier itself refunds.
Processing time: approved refunds are credited within 30–45 working days for flights and 10–15 working days for hotels, counted from the date we confirm the refund — not from the date of your cancellation request. We will confirm receipt of every cancellation request in writing within 48 hours.
You bear the full cost of any booking, cancellation, or administration fee charged by us or by the Supplier for a product you don't use, regardless of the reason. If we decline or cancel a booking on our own initiative for a reason not caused by you, we refund 100% of what you paid, with no deduction.
Do not create multiple bookings for the same traveler and dates hoping to pick the best price later. Duplicate bookings may be cancelled by us, and any resulting loss to VacationTrips.io from card processing fees or Supplier penalties will be charged to you.
Fact sheets reflect what the hotel has told us. Hotel renovations happen at the hotel's discretion and are not always disclosed to us in advance — we pass on updated information as soon as we receive it, but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of hotel-supplied facts.
Seat-in-coach (SIC) tours run on a fixed group schedule with no off-itinerary stops and possible pickup waiting time; private tours cost more but flex to you. Entry fees at monuments and attractions are excluded unless stated.
Low-cost carriers may exclude services (meals, baggage, seat selection) that full-service carriers include — read the fare rules before you buy. We are a booking intermediary; we are not the airline, and we do not control flight delays, cancellations, or route changes made by the carrier. We will, however, notify you of any Supplier-issued schedule change we are made aware of as soon as we receive it.
Review the inclusions, itinerary, and terms before purchase. Custom itineraries are available on request.
We are not liable for vehicle breakdowns, vehicle condition disputes, traffic delays, or fines incurred by the driver. These are matters between you and the rental Supplier, though we will assist in raising a complaint on your behalf.
We strongly recommend it for every trip. Claims and disputes are handled directly by the insurance provider under its own policy terms.
Hotel, sightseeing, rail, and cruise bookings are confirmed instantly by email once payment clears. E-ticketed flights are emailed as soon as payment is confirmed; where a carrier still issues paper tickets, dispatch takes up to 3 working days and we are not responsible for non-delivery caused by your unavailability at the address on file. Holiday package vouchers follow within 24 hours of payment. Car rental confirmations follow within 4–5 hours.
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by a Force Majeure event.
Neither VacationTrips.io nor its Suppliers are liable for a failure or delay caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government action, strikes, pandemics, or nuclear or radioactive contamination. Where a Force Majeure event prevents delivery of a paid service, we will pass on any amount recovered from the Supplier and will not additionally profit from the disruption.
Your booking may also be governed by the Supplier's own conditions of carriage, fare rules, and cancellation policy. Where our Terms and a Supplier's terms conflict on a specific point, the Supplier's terms govern that point for that booking, since we act as their agent.
Most destinations require a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Visa and health requirements differ by country and are your sole responsibility to check and satisfy with the relevant embassy or consulate. We are not liable for a visa refusal. If we decline or cancel a booking for reasons on our side, we refund all unutilized payment, minus only booking or cancellation fees that were disclosed to you in advance.
You must be at least 18 years old to book, and at least 13 to create an account or post content, in line with Indian law. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
If you post a review, comment, photo, or other content on the Site, you confirm it is accurate and your own. You grant VacationTrips.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Site and its promotion. You keep ownership of your content — we are not claiming it as ours, only a license to use it.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, impersonating, or that contains another person's private information without consent. We may remove any content, at any time, that breaches this section.

Breach of this section may result in suspension of your account and, where the breach causes loss, a claim for damages.
We take reasonable care to keep prices, availability, and product descriptions accurate, but errors can occur, particularly with Supplier-provided data such as hotel amenities or photographs. Where such an error causes you loss, our liability is capped at the total amount you paid for the specific booking affected — this cap does not apply to claims involving our fraud, gross negligence, or where a cap is not permitted under Indian consumer protection law.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost earnings or a spoiled holiday claim beyond the cost of the booking) except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify VacationTrips.io against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of the Site — limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable and directly caused by your breach.
The Site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.
Displayed exchange rates are indicative, drawn from public sources, and may not match the rate applied by your bank or card issuer. Do not rely on this tool for financial decisions without independent verification.
All Site content — text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of VacationTrips.io or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Third-party trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement of VacationTrips.io.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first go to good-faith negotiation; if unresolved within 30 days, it will be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by VacationTrips.io under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Mohali, Punjab. Subject to that arbitration clause, the courts at Mohali, Punjab, and the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh have exclusive jurisdiction.
Claims must be brought within 2 years of the date they arose, or they are waived, to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect, and the unenforceable part is replaced by one that most closely reflects its original intent. These Terms, together with any policy pages they reference, are the entire agreement between you and VacationTrips.io regarding use of the Site, superseding any prior agreement on the same subject.
Using the Site does not create a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and VacationTrips.io.
